Engie has developed its own car sharing services in and around Paris.
It is now possible for Engie employees who work in the Paris area to use pool electric cars to go places. This car sharing service is currently available at 4 locations (Paris La Defense T1, Bagneux, Le Landy and Euro Atrium). There are 8 Renault Zoe and 2 VW eUp at the disposal of the employees
Cars can be reserved via a Web Application. The identification is made easy as Engie employees use their company ID to identify themselves. The Nexxtender EV platform gives an overview of charging activities to the drivers and to the fleet managers. They are all remotely managed.
The ambition of Engie is to encourage changes in behavior, to promote a greener mobility by reducing the use of personal cars or taxis when its employees go to customers or prospects. At this stage, the system registers 40 reservations per week for 150 registered employees.
